Overview
We are a general machine shop that is currently seeking a person to help support daily operations by performing a variety of daily tasks. In this role, you'll support manufacturing by preparing materials, assisting with a variety of operations, and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the shop.
Duties
- Help with maintenance of machinery (management of coolant, oils, and air filtration)
- Forklift operation (moving various materials of different sizes, pallets, etc.)
- Driving- making local pickups and deliveries
- Preparing orders for shipment
- Other duties as needed.
- Daily cleanup (involves cleaning equipment, sweeping, taking out the trash, etc.)
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate forklifts (certification preferred), and basic factory equipment
- Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Mechanical aptitude with an interest in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing processes.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
