Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries
Conduct physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions
Monitor patient progress, record treatment data, and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
Educate patients and their families on proper rehabilitation techniques and provide guidance on adapting to their new physical abilities
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and treatment
Requirements
Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field
Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Florida
Minimum of [FILL] years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software
