Customer Service Representative (Manufacturing)
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Compensation: $25 – $26/hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Overview
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support domestic and international customer accounts while delivering a high level of service and responsiveness. This role serves as a key point of contact between customers and internal departments, ensuring orders, inquiries, and customer concerns are handled accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment requiring strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer support through phone, email, and internal communication channels
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and lead times
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, including both domestic and international clients
- Process a high volume of purchase orders accurately within the ERP system
- Coordinate order changes, cancellations, returns, credits, and adjustments
- Review customer documentation, specifications, and order requirements for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Shipping, Logistics, Sales, and other internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently while following through to completion
- Support shipping and logistics activities related to domestic and international order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards
- Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment preferred
- Experience processing orders in an ERP system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Experience supporting international accounts or logistics processes is a plus
