In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of residential homes, ensuring precision and quality in every project. Duties
- Decking roofs
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, and assemble framing components
- Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other hand tools for proper fitment
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards
- Conduct heavy lifting safely during material handling and structural assembly
- Support remodeling and restoration projects by applying specialized carpentry techniques
Skills
- Construction experience preferred, but willing to train someone that is a quick learner and has a great attitude.
- Ability to operate hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, levels as well as power tools efficiently
- Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when required
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in challenging Florida heat conditions
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
