i9 Sports is a Youth Sports Organization that provides fun and recreation-based leagues, camps, and after-school programs for kids ages 3-14.
We are looking for self-motivated, reliable, engaging, and customer service-oriented team members to join us. We have multiple positions open in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, and San Jose for our Soccer, Basketball, Football, and Baseball leagues.
Sports Coordinators - Soccer, Basketball, Flag-Football, and Baseball
Instruct, organize, and officate youth practice and games.
Maintain a safe, fun, and fair game experience. Have a strong understanding of sports and how to teach and officiate the games. Have the ability to adjust and adapt to different divisions, skill levels, and ages. Coordinators will lead volunteer coaches in practice and officiate games for their sport of choice. All leagues are coed and will have kids from 3-14.
After-School Instructors - Multi-Sport
Lead, organize, and operate after-school sports related programs for kids Mon-Fri.
Maintain a safe, fun, and fair game experience. Have a strong understanding of sports and how to teach and officiate the games. Have the ability to operate activities, drills, and games for multiple sports. Instructors must be reliable and available Mon-Fri, between 2:30-5pm.
Site Managers/Lead Coordinator- All Sports
Managers and Lead Coordinator will organize and oversee all league activities on the field/court. They will assist in setting up and breaking down fields, checking in all teams, officials and staff, and operate the check-in table for questions, concerns, and needs. Having a strong understanding of all the sports and rules is important. Customer Service experience is a must.
All staff start as a Sports Coordinator and can move to a Site Manager/Lead Coordinator once they have experience and demonstrate the skills needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must pass a background check
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be available for entire program length (6-8 weeks)
- Reliable and self-motivated to provide a good program for our local families
- Experience working in sports, schools, and with kids is a plus.
*Training is provided for all positions before and during the season.
Job Type: Part-time (10-20 hrs per week)
Salary: $20.00 to $30.00 /hour
