Job Summary
A construction company in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Estimator Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with 1 to 2 years of experience in project coordination, estimating support, bid coordination, service proposals, or a related construction environment.
The Estimator Assistant will help manage bid invitations, organize estimating documentation, support prequalification processes, and keep internal teams aligned on proposal activity. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage invitations to bid, ensuring opportunities are reviewed, tracked, and routed appropriately.
- Maintain bid tracking systems and organized documentation for estimating and proposal activity.
- Communicate regularly with management, sales, and internal teams regarding bid status, deadlines, and required information.
- Support prequalification management, including gathering, organizing, and submitting required documents.
- Assist the sales team with administrative, organizational, and process improvement initiatives.
- Help maintain accurate records and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced construction environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $45,000 to $55,000 per year.
