We are hiring 2 more part time receptionists to join our amazing team. Ellis Psychiatric Healthcare is a compassionate and patient-centered outpatient psychiatric clinic located in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, the receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive experience and supporting the smooth daily operations of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage provider calendars
- Check in and check out patients, verify insurance, and collect copays
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using our EHR system
- Handle incoming faxes, emails, and other administrative communications
- Support the clinical team with various administrative tasks as needed
- Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or behavioral health setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, calm, and compassionate demeanor
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software; experience with EHR systems is a plus
