We are currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic instructors to join our team.
As an After-School Art Class Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging art classes for children aged 4 to 12 years old.
Your role will involve implementing creative projects, teaching various techniques, and providing a supportive environment that inspires students to explore their artistic talents.
Responsibilities
- Teach various art techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure the safety of all participants.
- Organize and display student artwork for exhibitions or showcases.
- Communicate regularly with us regarding student progress and class activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience teaching art to children in an after-school setting or similar environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for working with children and helping them discover their creativity.
- Ability to plan engaging and age-appropriate art projects.
Candidate must have a car to carry/bring materials to assigned schools.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
