While there are only a few homebound cases, your flexibility and dedication will ensure every student receives high-quality speech-language support.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid Delaware SLP license (required for consideration)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfort working in both in-school and homebound environments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to flex with caseload and placement changes
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students in a school setting and to homebound learners as assigned
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with educational and medical staff, as well as families
- Complete thorough documentation in a timely manner
- Adjust schedules and services to meet the evolving needs of the district
