Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the Danville, Pa Super 8. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical, plumbing, and drywall/finishing work experience, capable of ensuring the smooth operation at the hotel by ensuring guest rooms and physical plant are maintained safely and to a high standard for our guests. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on PTAC units, plumbing lines, bathroom fixtures, doors and walls.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting using tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in hotel maintenance.
- Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to fabricate components as required for repairs or improvements.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience working in hotels is preferred.
