Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Early Childhood Educator Assistant Director to join our vibrant educational community. In this role, you will support the overall leadership and management of our early childhood program, ensuring a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners. Duties
- Assist in developing and implementing innovative curriculum plans that cater to diverse learning needs and promote holistic development
- Support senior leadership in strategic planning initiatives to enhance program quality and community engagement
- Contribute to fundraising efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and cultivating relationships with donors and partners
- Help manage program budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure resources are allocated effectively to maximize educational impact
- Supervise teaching staff by providing mentorship, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering professional growth
- Oversee classroom operations to ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health standards, and safety protocols
- Engage with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community events to strengthen partnerships and support student success
- Lead public speaking engagements to promote the program’s mission and showcase student achievements within the community
Experience
- Proven experience in classroom teaching within early childhood education settings with a strong understanding of child development principles
- Demonstrated management or supervisory experience in an educational or administrative environment
- Experience in curriculum development tailored to early learners’ needs
- Background in education administration, including budgeting, strategic planning, and program evaluation
- Prior involvement in fundraising activities or community outreach initiatives is highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaborative relationships
- Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements and parent interactions
