Client Care Lead – CNA / Experienced Caregiver
Right at Home – Burbank / Glendale, CA
Pay: $25–$30 per hour
Schedule: Full-time and Part-time | Weekday and Weekend Opportunities
Right at Home is hiring Client Care Leads to join our team.
This is not a traditional caregiver position.
Client Care Leads are experienced, highly dependable caregivers who can step into challenging client situations, help cover urgent staffing needs, support other caregivers in the field, and help ensure every client receives excellent care.
We are looking for people who are confident providing hands-on care and who naturally take ownership when something needs to get done.
If you are the caregiver that families trust, coworkers rely on, and managers call when a situation is difficult, this role may be a great fit.
What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will vary based on the needs of our clients and care team.
Provide Exceptional Client Care
- Provide hands-on care in clients' homes
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
- Support transfers, mobility, gait belts, and assistive devices
- Provide dementia and Alzheimer's care
- Assist clients with fall-risk and higher-care needs
- Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Support clients transitioning home from hospitals or rehabilitation facilities
Help Solve Urgent Staffing Needs
Client Care Leads are part of our most dependable field team.
You may be asked to:
- Cover caregiver call-offs
- Assist with difficult-to-fill shifts
- Step into urgent or short-notice client needs
- Help stabilize a new or challenging case
- Provide temporary coverage while the scheduling team identifies a long-term caregiver
Support Quality in the Field
When coverage needs are stable, Client Care Leads may also:
- Visit clients to check on satisfaction and quality of care
- Meet caregivers at new client starts
- Help orient caregivers to client routines
- Observe caregiver performance in the home
- Coach caregivers on proper care techniques and best practices
- Lead caregiver trainings and skills-development sessions
- Help reinforce company care standards, safety practices, and expectations
- Identify concerns and communicate them to the office
- Help ensure care plans are being followed
- Build strong relationships with clients and families
Support the Care Team
This is a field-focused leadership role.
You may occasionally assist our scheduling or operations team with urgent caregiver communication or client issues, but you will not be expected to sit at a desk managing the entire schedule.
Your primary job is to help solve problems where they happen: with our clients and caregivers in the field.
Who We're Looking For
We're intentionally setting a high bar for this position.
Strong candidates will have:
- CNA certification strongly preferred
- At least 2 years of professional caregiving or CNA experience preferred
- Excellent hands-on personal care skills
- Experience with transfers and mobility assistance
- Experience with dementia or memory care
- Confidence working with higher-care or challenging clients
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently
- A calm, professional approach when situations change quickly
- Willingness to work with different clients rather than only one permanent assignment
- Comfort coaching, mentoring, and training other caregivers
Experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, assisted living community, memory care community, hospice, or private-duty home care setting is highly valued.
Schedule
We are hiring multiple Client Care Leads and can accommodate different availability.
Opportunities include:
- Monday–Friday
- Tuesday–Saturday
- Thursday–Sunday
- Weekends
- Other weekday/weekend combinations
You do not need to be available seven days per week.
Strong availability and flexibility are important because this role is designed to help the team when client needs change.

Compensation
$25–$30 per hour, depending on experience, availability, assignment, and shift needs.

- Weekend shifts
