Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Team Member - Service/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food and retail, with a knack for multitasking and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Whether taking orders, processing payments, or assisting with food prep, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections or product inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and basic math to give correct change.
- Support food preparation tasks, including food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items or products to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area, kitchen stations, and dining spaces following sanitation guidelines.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, cashiering, or grocery store operations is advantageous.
