Part-Time Mandarin Chinese Teacher (Afterschool Club)
Lulu Enrichment Programs is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Mandarin Chinese Teacher to lead afterschool enrichment classes for elementary-aged students.
Position Details
- Location: Austin, Leander and Georgetown area schools
- Schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
- Teaching Time: 1.5 hours per day ( 3:30-5:00)
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Start Date: Fall 2026
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging Mandarin Chinese lessons to small groups of elementary students.
- Create a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate learning environment.
- Incorporate games, songs, crafts, stories, and cultural activities into lessons.
- Manage classroom behavior in a positive and encouraging manner.
- Communicate professionally with school staff and program coordinators.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Teaching experience, education background, or language instruction experience is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience. $30-$45/hour
