Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping experience, ensuring they find products that meet their needs.
- Promote and sell retail products and financial services, including retail lending options and banking solutions.
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers, cash drawers, and 10-key typing systems while maintaining cash management procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries related to loan processing, loan collections, and other financial services with professionalism and clarity.
- Manage data entry tasks efficiently to update customer records, sales data, and transaction logs using financial software.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring product displays are appealing and stocked appropriately.
- Support team efforts by assisting with inventory management, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with retail math standards.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or retail store experience is highly preferred.
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and retail math calculations.
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in banking or financial services is advantageous but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions responsibly, including processing cash payments and managing a cash drawer.
