Qualified candidate will adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles andabilities. Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth. Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary. Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to address specific learning goals. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Assess students’ progress and provide feedback on their academic performance Collaborate with paraprofessional and student's RBTs to create a cohesive educational experience Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment Support students' social-emotional development and behavioral health
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.- Knowledge and experience with Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), methodology and implementation. - Experience working with students with disabilities, such as Autism, ADHD, and Speech/Language Impairments. - Valid teaching certification or license. - Willingness to hold a leadership role within the classroom, guiding the paraprofessional as well as students' therapy team in the academic and behavioral development of students with disabilities. -Ability to oversee the implementation of specialized instructional programs and documentation, collaborate with student’s therapy team, parents, and other professionals. -Must have knowledge on how to address challenging behaviors and differentiate curriculum.
