Subcontractor Installer – Large Format Graphics (Visual Tuning)
Visual Tuning is a professional large-format graphics installation company working with retail stores, shopping centers, and national brands.
We are expanding our network of reliable subcontractor installers for ongoing and project-based work.
Position: Subcontractor Installer
Type: 1099 / Contract
Location: Los Angeles + Nationwide Opportunities
Scope of Work
- Install vinyl graphics (windows, walls, glass)
- Apply architectural films and specialty finishes
- Install lightbox graphics
- Handle retail rollout and multi-location projects
- Perform de-installation when required
Requirements
- Proven experience with large-format graphic installation
- Own professional tools (squeegees, knives, ladders, heat gun, etc.)
- Ability to work overnight and off-hours (retail environments)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and clean finish quality
- Ability to follow provided scope and instructions precisely
- Professional communication on-site
Preferred:
- Experience working in malls and retail environments
- 3M certification or equivalent (not required but a plus)
Work Expectations
- Arrive on time and prepared
- Review job packet before installation
- Follow Visual Tuning installation standards
- Maintain clean and professional work area
- Communicate any issues immediately
- Do not make unauthorized changes to scope
- Submit required documentation after install:
- Arrival photos
- Completion photos
- Notes (if needed)
Quality Standards
- Clean, bubble-free application
- Straight alignment and proper trimming
- No damage to surfaces
- Attention to detail on all visible areas

- Paid per project (based on scope and complexity)
