Operations ManagerPosition Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the organization. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all departments, employees, and operational processes are running efficiently and according to company standards.
The ideal candidate should be a strong leader who can manage multiple teams, solve problems quickly, monitor performance, improve processes, and ensure company goals are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities1. Overall Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the organization.
- Ensure all departments are operating efficiently and meeting company expectations.
- Develop, implement, and improve operational procedures and systems.
- Monitor daily activities and identify operational issues.
- Coordinate between management and different departments.
- Prepare regular operational reports for senior management.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed consistently.
2. Staff & Team Management
- Supervise managers, supervisors, and operational staff.
- Monitor employee attendance, schedules, performance, and productivity.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development.
- Address employee performance issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Hold managers and employees accountable for assigned responsibilities.
- Conduct regular team meetings and follow up on assigned tasks.
3. Scheduling & Workforce Management
- Review and manage employee schedules.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels based on operational requirements.
- Monitor overtime, labor hours, call-outs, and schedule changes.
- Coordinate staffing adjustments when needed.
- Maintain accurate employee scheduling and attendance records.
- Identify staffing gaps and recommend solutions.
4. Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor employee certifications, required training, and documentation.
- Conduct regular internal audits and quality checks.
- Identify compliance issues and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and service.
5. Financial & Cost Management
- Monitor operational expenses and budgets.
- Review labor costs and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
- Monitor purchasing and operational spending.
- Review financial and operational reports.
- Identify unnecessary expenses and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Work with the accounting/finance team to ensure accurate financial tracking.
6. Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and develop solutions to improve productivity.
- Create and maintain SOPs, checklists, workflows, and operational systems.
- Implement systems and technology to improve accountability and efficiency.
- Establish KPIs and monitor operational performance.
- Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements to senior management.
7. Communication & Reporting
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for managers and department leads.
- Communicate important operational updates to senior management.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
- Track outstanding tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain clear communication between departments.
- Escalate important operational issues to senior management.
8. Problem Solving & Leadership
- Respond quickly to operational problems and unexpected situations.
- Investigate issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Make decisions based on company policies and operational priorities.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to managers and employees.
- Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in operations management, business management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience managing multiple teams or departments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Experience with scheduling, reporting, and operational tracking systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
