We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a long-term assignment with the strong potential to transition into a full-time employee after the contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive setting with a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule, advanced imaging equipment, and a manageable patient volume.
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Two paid 15-minute breaks + 30-minute lunch

Position Overview
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in a patient-focused imaging environment with an average of approximately 5 patients per day. This role focuses exclusively on diagnostic nuclear medicine—no radiation therapy responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to department protocols
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including Siemens ECAM/Vantage and GE systems
- Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
- Start IVs and administer injections per protocol
- Monitor patient condition throughout procedures
- Educate patients on imaging procedures and answer questions
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and radiation safety records
- Manage radiopharmaceutical inventory and supplies
- Submit nuclear medicine charge tickets for completed procedures
- Ensure compliance with all quality and radiation safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification required
- Current BLS/BCLS (AHA) certification
- California state license (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience
- Experience with GE equipment required
- Siemens ECAM experience strongly preferred
