Remodel Sales & Design Consultant
Frey Construction is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Remodel Sales & Design Consultant to help homeowners bring their remodeling visions to life. This position combines consultative sales, creative design, and project coordination, with a primary focus on decks, porches, home additions, and other remodeling projects.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Consultation
- Meet with homeowners to understand their remodeling goals, needs, and budget.
- Conduct in-home design consultations and needs assessments.
- Build lasting relationships through exceptional customer service.
- Present remodeling solutions and confidently guide clients through the sales process.
- Prepare and present proposals while helping clients make informed decisions.
- Follow up with prospective customers and maintain an active sales pipeline.
Design & Planning
- Create conceptual drawings and functional design solutions.
- Assist clients with product, material, and finish selections.
- Utilize CAD, Chief Architect, or similar design software when applicable.
- Develop creative remodeling concepts that balance aesthetics, function, and budget.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate product selections and ordering.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the project.
- Work closely with production staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure a smooth transition from sale to construction.
- Help manage projects from initial consultation through completion.
Organization & Professional Growth
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Keep accurate documentation and project records.
- Continue learning about remodeling products, design trends, and sales techniques.
As the face of Frey Construction, you'll meet with homeowners, learn about their goals, create customized remodeling solutions, present proposals, and guide clients through the entire process—from the initial consultation to project completion. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, has an interest in structural design and construction, and is excited to help clients turn their ideas into reality.
Skills & Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple project details simultaneously.
- Confidence presenting ideas and building trust with homeowners.
- Interest in sales, remodeling, and helping clients achieve their goals.
- Knowledge of structural design or residential construction is preferred.
- Experience with home additions is a plus.
- Experience with CAD, Chief Architect, or similar design software is preferred.
- Any remodeling, construction, drafting, or design experience is considered a plus.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8–10 hour shifts
- Some evening and occasional weekend appointments may be required to accommodate homeowners' schedules.
