The Human Resources Generalist position is responsible for providing human resources support for the facility Human Resources Director, which includes recruiting for vacant positions, coordinating and conducting general employee orientations, organizing all employee activities and in-services, performs general clerical duties, inputs employee changes into the HR software, provides onboarding for new hires, maintains the employee files and education files, assists with recruiting fairs and manages the HR office in the absence of the Human Resources Director. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines.
Must have excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking skills and strong Microsoft Office skills. Education and experience equivalent to Associates Degree in Business or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in Human Resources required. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Excellent clerical and interpersonal skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Must be able to maintain effectively confidential information, and manage time effectively.
Must be very organized and able to multitask efficiently.
