We are looking for a proven operational leader who can help build the infrastructure necessary to support that growth. This is a build and scale role.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Operations & Systems Integrator to partner closely with ownership and help design, implement, and manage the systems, processes, reporting structures, and operational framework required to scale the company.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building organizations rather than simply managing them.
The right candidate has experience implementing operational systems, creating accountability structures, improving visibility across the business, and turning entrepreneurial companies into highly organized and scalable operations.
You will play a key role in reducing founder dependency, improving execution, and creating the infrastructure required to support the next stage of growth.
What You'll Own
Manufacturing & Production Operations
- Improve production flow, throughput, and capacity utilization
- Build production scheduling and capacity planning systems
- Increase efficiency and eliminate operational bottlenecks
- Implement quality control systems and process discipline
- Improve shop organization and workflow consistency
- Create scalable production processes that support future growth
Operational Systems & Business Infrastructure
- Develop and implement SOPs across departments
- Create repeatable workflows and accountability structures
- Establish KPI dashboards and operational reporting systems
- Design systems that increase organizational visibility and predictability
Inventory, Supply Chain & Planning
- Improve inventory accuracy and visibility
- Develop purchasing and replenishment systems
- Improve BOM discipline and material planning
- Create scalable forecasting and planning processes
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop production and operations teams
- Build accountability throughout the organization
- Create a high-performance operational culture
- Help establish organizational structure for future growth
Strategic Partnership with Ownership
- Serve as the primary operational partner to ownership
- Translate strategic goals into executable plans
- Build systems and accountability structures that drive company objectives
- Identify operational constraints before they become growth limitations
- Reduce founder involvement in day-to-day operational firefighting
- Help create a scalable operating company capable of supporting significant future growth
Examples of initiatives this role may lead include:
- Evaluating and implementing ERP/MRP systems
- Developing production scheduling and capacity planning processes
- Building KPI dashboards for production, inventory, purchasing, and fulfillment
- Creating SOPs and training systems across departments
- Establishing leadership meeting structures and accountability frameworks
- Improving inventory planning and purchasing workflows
- Creating scalable management systems that support future dealer and distribution growth

While manufacturing leadership is important, the primary responsibility of this position is to design, implement, and improve the systems, processes, reporting structures, and organizational framework that will allow the company to scale successfully.
Ideal Background
We are looking for someone who has helped scale operational systems in a manufacturing environment.
Strong candidates may come from:
- RV manufacturing
- Automotive aftermarket
- Fabrication or industrial manufacturing
- Marine manufacturing
- Aerospace subcontract manufacturing
- Other fast-growing product-based businesses
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- 5–10+ years in manufacturing or operations leadership
- Proven experience implementing operational systems and process improvements
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, and workflow design
- Experience building KPI dashboards and accountability systems
- Experience in founder-led or entrepreneurial businesses
- ERP/MRP implementation experience strongly preferred
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience preferred
- Demonstrated success scaling teams, systems, or operations

Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and capability
- Competitive base salary ($110,000–$150,000+ DOE)
