We have a current opening for an IT Specialist at our Sacramento, CA office.
The IT Specialist provides technical assistance and support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. This role handles both routine support requests and escalated tickets requiring deeper investigation and may contribute to IT projects and system administration tasks.
Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:
Support End Users Experience
- Support end user’s devices (computers and mobile devices) while on site and document via the Fresh Service ticketing system.

Meet SLA metrics and report out recommended process improvements.
- Setting up new systems, machinery, or networks at a designated site.

Executive support

Frequent site visits.
End User Support

Serve as a point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices

Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 or vendors when appropriate, with thorough documentation
Systems & Administration

Manage user accounts, permissions, and groups in Active Directory and Microsoft 365

Assist with configuration and maintenance of endpoints via MDM tools

Support deployment of hardware and software across the organization

Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle tracking
Infrastructure & Networking
-
Troubleshoot network issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, wireless connectivity)

Assist with printer, peripheral, and conference room AV support

Support patching and software update processes
Documentation & Process
-
Document resolutions and maintain the knowledge base
-
Follow and contribute to IT SOPs and runbooks

Track and meet SLA targets
Requirements
Education & Experience
-
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
-
On path for degree, Certificate, or similar in Information Technology and/or A+ and/or Network+ certification preferred.
-
2+ years supporting a help desk or related technical support experience.
- Valid Driver’s license
Required Skills & Abilities
-
Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 administration
- Active Directory user and group management
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical users
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms (Ticketing systems)
- Basic PowerShell or scripting knowledge a plus.

Ability to travel to locations across California possibly once a month for 1-2 days
- Ability to operate company vehicles

Salary Range

$30.00/hour - $34.00/hour
