We are seeking a detail-oriented and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and regulatory reporting requirements. As a CPA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of tax returns as well as financial statements while adhering to GAAP standards.
Duties
- Manage and oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other client reports.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients in a variety of industries.
- Review and supervise team members and ensure the quality of work.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering personalized accounting and financial services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and guidelines.
- Lead audits and support the firm's internal processes for improved efficiency.
- Responsible for reviewing workpapers and financial statements for audits, reviews, and compilation engagements.
Qualifications
- Active CPA certification with public accounting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong proficiency in accounting and tax software (QuickBooks, Lacerte, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Able to take constructive feedback from team members.
