Our company is seeking a qualified and experienced Welder/Fabricator who is experienced in multiple types of in-shop steel fabrication and welding. This position will require a fabricator who has experience with fabricating railings, stairs and gates. Competitive pay based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Metal Fabrication including Welding, Drilling, Cutting, Shearing
- Reading and interpreting Blueprints and Shop Drawings
- Loading and handling Steel Materials to racks and work area
- Inspect and maintain proper and safe operation of all shop equipment
- Comply with shop Safety Procedures and AISC Quality System Checks
- Maintain a professional work ethic
Qualifications:
- Must understand material Cut Lists to layout and fabricate railings and stairs
- 5 Years prior experience in Steel Fabrication / Welding including (GMAW and SMAW)
- Ability to read and understand blue prints, design, shop drawings and basic math
- Must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy in fabrication process
- Thorough working knowledge of weld types and connection types
- Knowledge of all types of hand tools, fabricating equipment, measuring devices
- Can work well with teams and has good communication skills
- Ability to safely operate a lull and forklift
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
Required license or certification:
* Prior fork lift safety training is a plus, but not required prior to employment
* Welding certification is a plus, but not required prior to employment

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
