Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports daily store operations by delivering fast, friendly service while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment. This role ensures every guest interaction reflects the Daily’s standard.
Essential Job Functions
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
- Answer customer questions and resolve basic concerns
- Accurately scan and process customer transactions
- Follow all cash handling and credit card procedures
- Stock merchandise and service products
- Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks inside and outside the store
- Understand and follow all safety and emergency procedures
Basic Qualifications & Physical Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (hear, speak, read, and write)
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and carry short distances
- Ability to stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours
- Ability to climb a step stool, reach overhead, grasp, bend, and crouch
- Ability to use hands bilaterally and unilaterally
- Ability to accurately use a touch-screen monitor
- Ability to accurately count U.S. currency and make change
- Ability to work in cold temperatures for short periods (while stocking coolers)
- Strong teamwork mindset and commitment to customer service
