Our Story:
Tennisbloc is making tennis and pickleball a more accessible, affordable, and inclusive experience across North Carolina. With our team of passionate, experienced instructors, paired with our software solutions and online platform, it's easier than ever to get plugged in. We are building a positive community by bringing a new standard of tennis and pickleball education programs, internships and lessons directly to the hearts of communities everywhere.
We are implementing technologies that empower organizers and communities everywhere to create meaningful and engaging tennis communities, events and leagues, while also having logistic technologies at their disposal to increase efficiency, retention, management control, and overall player participation.
We are painting a new picture and perception of racquet sports and have never lost our core goal—to help bring these sports to everyone that could never experience it before and to build positive and meaningful community in the process."
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in racquet sports (preferred)
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage and motivate students
- Background in physical education
- Experience working with children in a coaching or childcare setting
Responsibilities
- Teach fundamental techniques and strategies to enhance players' performance.
- Monitor and assess players' progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Organize and lead drills, practices, and matches, ensuring a safe environment.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote a positive sports culture.
- Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring they are safe and accessible.
Schedule
- The camp is currently planned to run in four sessions, from June 22 - 26, and July 13 - 17, and runs from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the latest. Each session runs from Monday through Friday. These dates may change dependent on the participation in the camps.
Coach should not be motivated by the paycheck, we are looking for coaches motivated by the passion for coaching the sports they love and helping to build an inclusive community.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
