Overview:
Avanti Windows & Doors is seeking a versatile Utility Technician to support installation, service, and lot status reporting (LSR) across job sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, adapting to different tasks, and supporting multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with window and door installation in new residential construction
- Support service calls, troubleshooting and resolving product issues
- Provide daily lot status updates (LSR) for assigned communities
- Monitor job site conditions and report safety concerns
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and internal departments
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Use mobile devices and apps for reporting and updates
- Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA requirements
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders/heights
- Comfortable using basic tools (drills, levels, nail guns)
- Strong work ethic and reliability (on-time, everyday attendance)
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to different roles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR required)
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Teams, apps/iPad)
Preferred:
- Construction or window installation experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
