We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care for a 13-week travel assignment. Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position.
Position Details
- Position: Registered Nurse – Wound Care
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Shift: Day Shift – 8 Hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- No Weekends
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Wound Care RN experience
- AHA BLS Certification (Required)
- CWOCN Certification (Required)
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence needs.
- Serve as a wound care consultant, providing specialized recommendations and evidence-based treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention, treatment, and ostomy care.
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and document care accurately in Cerner.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and wound care best practices.
