Monday thru Friday 3.5 hours each afternoon
We are seeking a dedicated Afternoon Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our work environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming during the afternoon hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, experience in janitorial and custodial tasks, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various settings. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including restrooms, breakroom, and common spaces during afternoon shifts.
- Conduct floor care activities - sweeping, mopping to mainatin a pristine appearance.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively to ensure optimal results.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock levels are low.
- Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and uphold cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment.
- Experience with industrial cleaning methods is preferred.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting issues promptly.
