Part-Time Massage Therapist (New Graduates Welcome)

Salve Bodywork + Massage is looking for a therapeutic-focused massage therapist to join our growing team!
We are a clinical, therapeutic massage practice with a strong focus on TMJ/jaw pain, headaches, migraines, facial tension, and therapeutic bodywork. Our TMJ clientele continues to grow, and we are looking for the right therapist to join our team and grow with us.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a therapist who genuinely enjoys therapeutic massage and helping clients feel better, rather than someone who is primarily focused on relaxation massage.
Therapeutic massage experience and mindset is a must.
You do not need to already be trained in TMJ massage. I am willing to provide TMJ/intra-oral massage training at no cost to the right therapist.
You should be:
- A licensed massage therapist in Missouri
- Confident and comfortable providing therapeutic massage
- Interested in continuing to learn and develop your clinical skills
- Open to learning TMJ, facial, and intra-oral massage techniques
- Comfortable working with clients who have chronic tension, jaw pain, headaches, and muscular dysfunction
- Professional, dependable, and personable
- Comfortable communicating with clients about their goals and treatment
- Someone who genuinely cares about the client experience
The Schedule
Currently looking for:
- Fridays
- Saturdays
- Hours are flexible on both days
This is a part-time position to start, with the potential to build into a larger schedule over time.
I want to be transparent about something important: your schedule will not necessarily be full immediately. We have an established clientele and a strong demand for our services, but it takes time to build a new therapist's individual schedule.
This position would be a great fit for someone who may already have another job or source of income and wants to gradually build a clientele at Salve.
My goal is to help you build a full, sustainable schedule here over time—not expect you to walk in with a completely full book on day one.
Compensation
$35/hour + gratuity
TMJ training is provided at no cost.
