Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times, adhering to food handling regulations and sanitation protocols
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, perform basic math for billing and change, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and brewing processes
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated ability in time management to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Experience in food safety practices, food handling, and proper sanitation procedures within the food industry
- Previous bar management or supervisory experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
