Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Framer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise framing crews in the installation of wood framing, siding, stucco, and other structural elements.
- Oversee the setup and execution of concrete forming and rebar installation to ensure precise placement according to schematics and blueprints.
- Manage daily site operations, including heavy equipment operation, material handling, and coordination with other trades such as roofing, masonry, and plastering.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications while maintaining a clean and organized work site.
- Train team members on proper use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery to promote safety and efficiency.
- Conduct quality inspections of framing work, concrete finishes, masonry installations, and restoration projects to meet project requirements.
Skills
- Extensive experience in frame carpentry, siding installation, roofing, stucco application, and masonry work.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for accurate project execution.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles with the ability to coordinate multiple trades effectively.
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming techniques, plastering, woodworking, trim carpentry, and remodeling processes.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely alongside hand tools and power tools essential for framing tasks.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing construction crews on-site.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces as required by construction projects.
