Duties
- Operate and maintain various printing, cutting, and fabrication equipment to produce signage, banners, displays, and other visual communication materials.
- Manage inventory of raw materials, supplies, and finished products using inventory management systems to ensure seamless production flow.
- Collaborate with design teams to interpret project specifications and translate digital files into physical products accurately.
- Coordinate with suppliers for sourcing parts, materials, and equipment needed for production projects while ensuring cost-effective procurement management.
- Prepare and assemble finished signage according to client specifications, including mounting, lamination, and finishing touches.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety standards; perform routine equipment repairs when necessary.
- Assist in order management processes using systems to track project progress from initiation to completion.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes related to signage production, vinyl cutting, and assembly techniques.
- Experience with supply chain management, supplier management, procurement management, and demand planning.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in data entry and parts administration.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of printing and fabrication machinery.
- Ability to manage logistics inventory management including shipping & receiving operations.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and occasionally assist with installations.
- Excellent negotiation skills for sourcing parts and supplies; understanding of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards is beneficial.
