Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Perform routine tasks such as administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments.
- Handle and restrain animals safely during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and health practices.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory samples and assist in diagnostic testing.
Qualifications
- Veterinary technician experience at least 1 year. RVT a plus.
- Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology
- Experience with medication administration and pet care
- Familiarity with animal catheterization and dental terminology
- Ability to provide critical care and support in a veterinary setting
- Experience in laboratory procedures.
Base Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
