Agricultural Loan Officer
A strong community bank in South Dakota area is looking for an Agricultural Loan Officer who understands the farming lifestyle and enjoys working directly with producers. Whether you grew up on a farm, work in agriculture, or have experience supporting ag operations, this could be a great opportunity to build a long-term banking career in a rural community.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with farmers, ranchers, and ag business customers
- Manage and grow an agricultural lending portfolio
- Analyze financial information and recommend lending solutions
- Visit farms and agricultural operations to better understand customer needs
- Become involved in the local community and agricultural events
- Deliver excellent customer service and long-term financial guidance
Desired Background
- Farm, ranch, or agricultural experience strongly preferred
- Interest in agricultural lending and rural banking
- Knowledge of crop and livestock operations is helpful
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow
