Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Monroeville, PA
Schedule: Part Time | 4 Five Hour Shifts Per Week - Start Time Typically Between 8am and Noon
Compensation: $22/hr + Depending On Experience

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will:

Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing, GL coding, approvals, and timely vendor payments.

Reconcile vendor accounts, resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Process accounts receivable transactions, including client payments, employee billing, CareCredit, Trupanion, Scratch Pay, insurance payments, and mailed checks.

Research and resolve outstanding balances, unapplied payments, chargebacks, returned checks, and other account discrepancies.

Support month-end close activities by assisting with reconciliations, financial reporting, audits, and compliance documentation.

Prepare refunds, payroll deductions, weekly cash deposits, and other routine financial transactions.

Maintain vendor files, W-9s, CareCredit reporting, and audit-ready financial documentation.

Serve as a trusted resource for client financial inquiries and collaborate with hospital leadership on account reporting and financial updates.

Train and support Client Care Coordinators on financial workflows, billing processes, and hospital financial policies.

Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve financial processes while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service.

High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.

Experience working with accounting or ERP systems; familiarity with Dayforce, CareCredit, Trupanion, or similar platforms is a plus.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with financial reports and data.

Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
