Aircraft Logistics Analyst
Functional Description: Performs various logistics tasks in the area of Test and Evaluation (T&E) of support products in the field of Naval Aviation. Developing test methods to evaluate technical publications, support equipment, manpower, training and other product support elements of US Navy and US Marine Corps aircraft and system programs.
Supports Supportability Test & Evaluation (ST&E) evaluations of technical publicans, support equipment, training, manpower other logistic support elements conducted for F-35 ITF maintenance and operations.
Reviews and analyzes F-35 documentation to identify testable requirements and opportunities, then coordinates with engineers and maintenance personal to plan and execute ST&E evaluation events.
Attends Test readiness Review Boards (TRRB) and Executive Review Boards (ERB) for all Flight and Ground testing at ITF to ensure no supportability areas are impacted and are correctly documented in the test plan.
Uses F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) to access F-35 operation, maintenance and supply information to research and evaluate support for F-35 fleet.
Working knowledge of COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 (NAMP) very beneficial.
Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.
Education: BA or BS degree. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional six (6) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BA or BS degree.
Experience: Journeyman level of 3 to 10 years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance engineering, and a BA/BS degree; or 9 to 16 years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance engineering without a degree.
