We are currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and experienced Garden Center & Greenhouse Manager to lead our garden center and greenhouse operations. This is a full-time leadership position offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on one of Madison's premier garden and floral destinations.
What You'll Do
As Garden Center & Greenhouse Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our garden center and greenhouse facilities while leading a dedicated team focused on excellence. Responsibilities include:
- Merchandising and inventory management
- Purchasing and vendor relationship management
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and leading staff
- Managing greenhouse operations and plant production
- Planning seasonal programs and product offerings
- Coordinating incoming deliveries and interdepartmental orders
- Conducting weekly team meetings and driving operational excellence
- Ensuring outstanding customer service throughout the organization
- Maintaining organized, efficient, and profitable operations

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience
- Background in horticulture, greenhouse production, garden center operations, or a related field
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Must communicate with respect and maintain a positive work environment with your team
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers, employees, and suppliers
- Proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office and email communication

Horticulture Experience is required and a Horticulture Degree is preferred for this position.
Experience with indoor plants, outdoor plants, and floral arrangements is required.
