We are seeking a part-time to full time CA licensed pharmacy technician with previous experience. Familiarity with Pioneer is a plus.
Job Duties including but not limited to
- Prescription Processing
- Receive and input prescription orders
- Count, label, and package medications
- Customer Service
- Assist customers at the counter and drive-thru
- Answer basic medication or insurance questions (non-clinical)
- Insurance & Billing
- Process insurance claims
- Resolve coverage issues or rejections
- Inventory Management
- Stock shelves and monitor medication supplies
- Handle expired or recalled medications
- Compliance & Safety
- Follow pharmacy laws and regulations
- Maintain patient confidentiality Hippa compliable
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication names, and dosage forms
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with pharmacy software and technology systems
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred
- Active California pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred or required depending on state regulations
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
