American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at an acute care hospital in Missouri, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active MO or compact RN license.

Work in the Emergency Department of a 233-bed acute care hospital

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 17:45–06:15

Patient ratio of 1:4

Every 3rd weekend required; weekend rotation may fall on Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on existing rotation

No on-call requirements

No floating required

Epic EMR; experience with Epic is required

Navy scrubs required

No parking costs

Active MO RN license required; IL candidates may apply with a pending IL license

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS

Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC

Minimum 2 years of emergency department RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

First-time travelers are not accepted for this position

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Former permanent employees of BJC facilities must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler

Travelers may work at BJC facilities for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
