Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor for third shift to lead and manage our warehouse operations during overnight hours. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily distribution activities, ensuring efficient inventory control, and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a comprehensive understanding of logistics and warehouse management systems. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in optimizing processes, managing team performance, and supporting the seamless flow of materials and products within our distribution center.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities during the third shift, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material handling.
- Lead and motivate warehouse team members to meet productivity goals while maintaining high safety standards.
- Oversee the operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems to track stock levels, process orders, and ensure accurate inventory control.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline warehouse operations using lean management principles.
- Ensure proper documentation of shipments and receipts via RF scanners and other tracking tools.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate 3PL (third-party logistics) providers for timely distribution.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage shipping & receiving schedules, resolve discrepancies, and optimize distribution center operations.
- Support team development through training on warehouse procedures, equipment operation, and managerial communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role, preferably with third shift oversight.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory control, and logistics operations.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Skilled in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team management and managerial reporting.
- Familiarity with lean management techniques and process improvement strategies.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety and materials handling.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety protocols.
- Experience working within distribution center operations or 3PL environments is highly desirable.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
