Job Title: Safety Consultant
Location: Chicago, IL 60646
Duration: 12-Month Contract
We are seeking an experienced Safety Consultant with 3–5 years of construction safety experience to support large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and workplace safety laws while partnering with contractors, project teams, and business leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement construction safety programs and policies.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and contractor safety evaluations.
- Deliver OSHA and construction safety training.
- Review accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and promote a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders on safety initiatives.
Requirements:
- OSHA 500 Certification (Mandatory)
- 3–5 years of construction safety experience (utility experience preferred).
- Experience with OSHA compliance, contractor oversight, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as required.
