Job Overview
We’re seeking reliable and professional Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) for full-time contract positions across healthcare facilities throughout New York City. These roles offer the opportunity to support physicians and clinical teams in delivering quality patient care in fast-paced healthcare environments, including outpatient and clinical settings.
Duties Include:
- Preparing patients for exams and assisting providers during clinical visits and procedures
- Taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and supporting specimen collection as needed
- Updating patient records and maintaining accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Coordinating patient scheduling and helping manage daily patient flow
- Assisting with front office and administrative support, including phones and paperwork
- Maintaining exam rooms, supplies, and clinical readiness
Qualifications:
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential (NHA Required)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience (outpatient or hospital setting) required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Proficiency with EMR systems
