Lead Carpenter / Construction Foreman
Pay: $30 to $35 per hour

Landmark is a construction and property management company in Grand Rapids. All work is local. No travel, no difficult clients.
We are looking for a rare person. Someone who leads from the front, works harder than the guys next to them, knows every trade on the site, and still finds time to lift the crew up and keep morale high. If you have to be managed you are not the right fit. If you thrive when you own the job site you might be exactly who we are looking for.
We do it all in house. Roofing, siding, windows, doors, drywall, paint, flooring, trim, cabinets, demo, light plumbing, light electrical, snow and lawn. You need to know these trades inside and out and be able to work them yourself when needed.
You must be able to read blueprints, manage job site inspections, and communicate professionally with inspectors, vendors, and the ownership team. You run the floor, you set the pace, and you hold the standard.
Strong communication is not optional. We use job notes and shared photo albums to document and track all work. You are the example for the entire crew on organization, quality, and accountability.

What we need:
Minimum 5 years of verifiable general construction experience at a reputable company
Minimum 4 of those years must be in an actual leadership role managing a crew. If you have never officially led a crew do not apply
Hands on across multiple trades, not afraid to get in the trenches
Ability to read blueprints and work directly with inspectors
Positive leader with a great attitude who brings the best out of the people around them
Your own hand tools and tool belt
iPhone required
Strong communication and organization
Available to start immediately or by June 29th
Everyone starts with a trial period. Foreman starts at $30/hr. Your wage moves fast based on what you prove.
Must be physically fit and up for hard work. This is a real job on a real crew and we need someone who does not fool around and knows their stuff.
