Snead Eye Group is currently seeking a full-time Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician to join our team. Our practice offers state-of-the-art technology in a small, personalized setting.
Preferred skill set includes knowledge of the following: visual acuities, manual and auto refraction's, tonometry, A-SCAN, OCT, visual fields, topography, specular microscopy, fundus photos, and assisting in minor procedures. Knowledge of multi focal and accommodating IOLs a plus. Must have experience with EHR and a minimum of one year working in an ophthalmology or optometry office.
Qualified candidates will posses excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well with other team members. Must also demonstrate proficiency with windows-based medical software, as well as knowledge of insurance and coding (CPT and ICD10).
COA or COT certification a plus but we are also offering on-the-job training!
Travel to other locations as needed.
