We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Audiobook Post-Production Assistant to support our audiobook production team. In this remote role, you will work closely with Project Managers and other production professionals to help ensure audiobook projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and are delivered successfully to clients.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience working with spoken-word audio who enjoy organization, quality control, and audio editing in a fast-paced production environment.
What You'll Do
- Complete assigned audiobook post-production tasks and project support activities
- Manage and organize project files, documents, and records
- Assist with tracking project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of audiobook recordings
- Identify audio errors, inconsistencies, and production issues
- Prepare and vet pickup lists for re-recording sessions
- Organize scripts, notes, and recording materials for production sessions
- Make audio corrections using re-recorded content, edit fixes, and iZotope RX
- Prepare final audio files for delivery
- Update project documentation and production tracking forms
- Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, contractors, and internal team members
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience working with spoken-word audio, audiobooks, podcasts, or similar content
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Comfortable using email, phone, and Microsoft Teams for daily communication
Preferred:
- Experience with audiobook production workflows
- Familiarity with iZotope RX and audio editing software
- Experience performing audio quality control and proofreading audio content
Position Details

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour, depending on location
- Overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for hours worked over 40 in a workweek
- Bi-weekly pay schedule
- Direct deposit or paper check available
Work Schedule
This position is expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Specific work hours will be discussed and confirmed prior to your start date.
