Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Floor Technician Custodian to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our clients' facilities through expert floor care and custodial services. The ideal candidate will possess strong cleaning skills, experience with various floor maintenance techniques, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a professional environment. THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT POSITION (10:00PM-6:30AM).
Duties
- Perform comprehensive floor cleaning tasks including scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to ensure floors are clean, shiny, and well-maintained.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely.
- Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals and agents responsibly while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct heavy lifting for moving furniture or equipment as needed for thorough cleaning or maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors across various surfaces by utilizing appropriate techniques for tile, vinyl, carpet, and other flooring types.
- Execute detailed janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, and restroom sanitation to uphold overall facility cleanliness.
- Support environmental services initiatives by following eco-friendly cleaning practices and handling chemical agents responsibly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with a focus on floor care.
- Knowledge of floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing techniques REUIRED.
- Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners REQUIRED.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
- Strong manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving equipment or furniture.
- Excellent customer service skills to address client needs professionally.
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or environmental services preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $19.50 per hour
