Scheduling Manager
Location: Broward County, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000
About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing high-end commercial construction company, is seeking a Scheduling Manager to lead company-wide scheduling efforts across multiple construction projects. This newly created position will play a key role in establishing scheduling standards, supporting project teams, and providing leadership with visibility into project progress, milestones, and potential scheduling risks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction scheduling experience, preferably with a commercial general contractor.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction sequencing, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and field operations.
- Experience developing and maintaining baseline schedules, schedule updates, forecasts, and look-ahead schedules.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with hospitality, restaurant, retail, or other high-end commercial construction projects is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules from preconstruction through closeout.
- Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Preconstruction teams to create baseline schedules and forecasting models.
- Monitor schedule performance and identify potential delays, risks, and recovery opportunities.
- Facilitate schedule reviews and provide actionable recommendations to project teams.
- Standardize scheduling procedures, templates, and best practices across the organization.
- Create company-wide scheduling reports and dashboards for executive leadership.
- Support project teams with schedule updates, critical path analysis, and recovery planning.
- Provide training and guidance on scheduling best practices.
