Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets safety standards and performs at optimal levels, delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering systems.
- Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in top condition.
- Repair or replace critical systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and powertrain components to ensure safety compliance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle quality before returning it to the customer.
Skills
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, Schematics reading, and electronic troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in working with GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred.
- Skilled in the use of maintenance equipment such as lifts, wheel alignment machines, tire changers, and welding tools.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing transmissions, powertrain systems, suspension components, brakes, shocks & struts.
- Ability to perform precise vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes and tire services efficiently.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
